A Primer on Using the Livingstone Corer

We used a modified version of the Livingstone corer, which was originally developed by Daniel Livingstone of Duke University, to collect the peat cores for the REPEAT project. Following are the various parts of a video we developed on the use of the corer in hopes that it will be helpful to others involved in peat-coring projects. The video features former USGS Scientist Christian de Fontaine and USGS Research Hydrologist Dr. Judith Drexler.
