Alaska contains
many geologic terraines. Noatak, Cape Krusenstern, Gates
of the Arctic and Kobuk Valley all lie in the northern mountain belts and coastal plains.
Bering Land Bridge, Yukon-Charley Rivers and a portion of
Denali exist within the plains of the center of the state. The majority of Denali,
Aniakchak, Katmai, Alagnak, Lake Clark, Kenai Fjords, Wrangell-St.
Elias, Glacier Bay, Klondike Gold Rush and Sitka lay within
the southern mountinous belts, which borders the Gulf of Alaska and
