Coupled Real-time Streambank Piezometer and Streamflow Gaging Station
Tallahatchie River at Money, Mississippi (station 07281600)
The Tallahatchie River at Money, MS is located in Leflore County in the central part of the Big Sunflower Basin. The channel is cut into alluvium consisting of fine to medium sand. At the site of the gaging station, at Money, the drainage area is 5,221 square miles. The piezometer adjacent to the Tallahatchie River at Money is 2 inches in diameter and 28.5 feet deep.
Real-time stream water level elevation and groundwater elevation, and stream and groundwater temperature data at this station can be plotted for up to 120 days using the USGS NWIS web pages.
