Director of Biological Resources Division (BRD) Conte Anadromous Fish Center Visits WHFC February 2001 in this issue:  previous story | next story Steve Rideout, Director of the BRD Conte Anadromous Fish Center in Turner's Falls, MA, visited the Woods Hole Field Center recently and gave a talk about the facility and the research BRD conducts at this site. The centerpiece of their research is a huge flume, entirely gravity fed by the Connecticut River, in which they can run a variety of experiments ranging from fish behavior in fluid flow to erosion and flow around bridge abutments. in this issue:  previous story | next story
