Farris Re-elected to STC Executive Board in Louisiana

Gaye Farris, USGS National Wetlands Research Center, Lafayette, La., has been re-elected to the executive board of the Society for Technical Communication's (STC) satellite chapter in Louisiana. The chapter is a satellite of the chapter in Houston, TX. Farris will lead the team for the group's annual conference next year. She is also national president of the National Association of Government Communicators and a member of the Council of Science Editors. Farris serves as the publishing coordinator for USGS Biological Resources Discipline and is NWRC chief of technology and informatics.
