American Association of Petroleum Geologists Gives USGS Scientist an Award for Presentation Excellence

Bill Winters, an engineer with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS)'s Woods Hole Science Center, was recently awarded the President's Certificate for Excellence in Presentation (in the poster category) for his presentation entitled "Physical Properties of Sediment Containing Natural and Laboratory-Formed Gas Hydrate."

The award was given by the President of the Energy and Minerals Division of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. The poster was presented at the association's national meeting, held in Salt Lake City, UT, in May 2003. Congratulations, Bill!
