100% burn with high charring of understory and overstory throughout. > 70-80% duff consumption. High 45-55% consumption of medium and heavy down fuels. Soils not rated. >20% survival of grasses, small shrubs, and forbs; fairly high amount of colonizers, and high expected change in species composition. > 95% taller shrub and small tree layer change in cover, >15% survivorship, high change in composition loss of conifers. 100% of intermediate trees burned, showing 95-98% char/torch and 2-5% scorch, with notable branch lose. 100% tree mortality. Char height is > 5 m. Black Spruce forest type.
